Anonymous asked: I've only now read your goodbye... And I absolutely needed to say you that you're an incredibly talented writer, your stories are wonderful, realistic, layered and the characters have a rare complexity and depth. And your love and respect for them (Sandor in particular, you know!) is palpable in every word you wrote. Your stories will have forever a social place in my heart and I'm honoured to have had the option thto readem. You're perfect the way you are. I hope you will read this. blueSands.
Hi blueSands!
We already talked about it on AO3 (as I know you rarely spend time on tumblr) so it was not a surprise for you, I guess… What you said about my writing made me blush and my words cannot convey my gratitude. How could they? You offered me support throughout the years. You were here when I posted my first stories, you stayed, no matter what, leaving comments on every story, even on the little known stories I posted. I often asked myself ‘What would blueSands think of this plot twist?’ I’m really lucky I got to ‘meet’ you and to exchange with you about these characters, thanks to this fandom.
You are a wonderful person and I wish you all the best!
A week ago, I posted the final chapter of One Little Slip and it’s the last fanfiction I’ll share. This is my last post here on Tumblr. I’ve decided to leave both the SanSan fandom and fanfiction in general. This is not a whim: I’ve been thinking of this for over a year and the last months helped me confirm my decision. But first of all, THANK YOU.
Your messages really touched me and I’m going to answer each one by using the messaging service of tumblr. It might take me a couple of days but I’ll do my best to answer every reply. *hugs*
Anonymous asked: Sorry to see you go. I honestly don't think dark themes and open endings are not popular in this fandom. First person POV on the other hand...
Hi Anon and thank you for your message!
You’re right, first person POV isn’t very popular here and I can see why. As for dark themes and open endings, well, you didn’t read some of the bad comments I got when I posted Pour Me One or Burning Bridges… But then again, someone more talented might have convinced everyone and received only praises for their work.

Okay so I’m hoping someone somewhere will know this fic bc I can’t remember much about it and I can’t seem to find it anywhere…
So Sansa and Sandor were living somewhere in essos like hiding out and sandor is doing like labour work and sansa was sat on the dock watching him work at one point
Then they get invited to a party/ball thing going on by one of the important people in the city and sandor agrees to go with her. Someone asks who they are to eachother and she says that they’re husband and wife which sandor is like “wtf?” at
Then she sees him kissing a whore at the party and she gets all upset and he says something like “why do you care where I put my mouth?” and then she reveals her feelings, etc
I know its not much to go off of but someone must know it :((((((((
Is it Burning Bridges by @asimplylucia ?
@bighound-littlebird I’m not sure. Could it be Maslowiang Needs by Helholden instead?
Here’s the final chapter of my film noir AU, One Little Slip. Yes, it is an open ending. No, it wasn’t inspired by GoT 8x5 (I only watched the episode last night). And of course, @queenoferebor1204 beautifully edited it (a round of applause for her, please!). I do hope you’ll enjoy reading it, because if you’re still here, you’re pretty amazing.
I drew her closer and kissed her slowly. Time was ticking, we both knew it. Let’s make it count, I thought, and I believe she told herself the same. Her soft lips lingered on mine and then she planted a kiss on my forehead. Brienne was already there, her tall silhouette looming over Sansa’s crouched form.
“What we have…” the little bird said. “Nothing can erase what we have.”
Next chapter of ‘One Little Slip’ is the final one.
“Never been very good at farewells,” I muttered once we were alone.
“Who told you this is farewell? Never in a million years I would have thought I’d do the things I’ve done recently, like… calling the restaurant where you were collecting money and pretending I was Cersei to talk to you. Like booking a room in a hotel for some… extracurricular activity.”
“Or like sleeping with me?”
She cupped my burnt cheek. “Like sleeping with you and asking myself why I didn’t fall in love with you earlier.”
“Say it again,” I asked. “I like the sound of it.”

Here’s the second-to-last chapter of One Little Slip, brilliantly edited by @queenoferebor1204, as always!
Warning for violence and the amount of darkness you can expect in film noir.
Brienne closed the door behind us. “We need to discuss the reason I came to San Diego. This, and what you intend to do.”
I froze. What did that ugly woman know about my plan? I instinctively touched my shoulder holster.
Brienne closed the distance between us and I realized how strange it was to meet a woman almost as tall as me. “I came here because I promised the late Catelyn Stark I would find her daughter and take her somewhere safe. I didn’t know someone else had more or less the same plan. Sansa just told me.”
Hope you’re having a nice Sunday :)
I’ll keep this short and sweet (well, it is sweet if you enjoy descriptions of Cersei) as I’m editing again and again the two remaining chapters of my film noir AU, One Little Slip.
The smell of menthol cigarettes roused me from my thoughts. Cersei. Our big-league blonde materialized by my side, a long and thin cigarette wedged between the second and the third finger of her manicured hand. The cigarettes were for getting rid of the alcohol breath and the menthol was supposed to hide the smell of tobacco. It didn’t work too well.
“Did you see Jaime?” she asked.

Picture: Lana Turner (AKA my headcanon for a film noir Cersei).
